My random delightful search! love the photos by Deb Schwedhelm , these photos inspired me to have a memory-capturing-session with my sisters and brother to cheerish siblings-hood given by God
God created me—and you—to live with a single, all-embracing, all-transforming passion—namely, a passion to glorify God by enjoying and displaying his supreme excellence in all the spheres of life. - John Piper

Psalm 103
Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field;
the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.
Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the Lord, O my soul.
~Psalm 103~
Thank you dear Lord for giving us the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. You are the reason we celebrate Christmas.
Blessed Christmas and New year =)

Summer's End/ Summer's Memories
As promise, this beautiful piece of poem is one of the gems i gained from National Conference 2010, enjoy the poem =)
Summer's End/ Summer's Memories
The broad road now diverged
Into a thousand and one ways
Each leading, to a different path
Only one can only take
As the moment of this season
Slowly reaches its very end.
Mountains and valley stand
As chasms and oceans lie dormant between us
Meeting again, most probably never
Unless our paths cross again
Down the years yonder.
So for the time we shared
While the leaaves were still green-
I hoped, you have really enjoyed
The sweetness of the summer friuts
During our walks, in the lush orchards
And down the quiet gardens......
Because I did,
and I enjoyed every one of it.
And I hope,
Even after the summer's end
The lively summer's memories
will still remain and breathe- eternal
Even when the darkness comes
And the trees turn bare;
And you will remember
This dear night wind
To whom you have lent a patient ear
and listened, to his silent whispers
whose heart you can always find
to be a faithful friend
-just because you were there,
and I found you listening.
To the friend who lent me her pencil
So that I could finish this poem:
This song of mine, I dedicate this to you.
Thank you.
All the best for the days to come
But do remember this:
That you will never be alone
Because you will always have love
Faithfully by your side
And you will always remember me
Everytime you feel the wind blows
In the middle of a silent night.

The theme song for the NC is Satu Suara by Juwita Suwito. We are so blessed to have her sing the song to us 1st hand on one of the few nights. She is gifted with powerful singing voice.
Participants from different states of Malaysia come together in one accord in this NC to look into our personal life issues and national issues. To understand ourselves adn our nation. In case you are wondering what is with the yellow bus doing there. the bus represents all participants are on board and ready to venture into 6 days of conference!
We were requested to wear national costume during the NC karnival night. Malaysia is so blessed with the richness of different etnic with beautiful and tasteful traditional costume.
Some of us from UKM KL CF wearing traditional costume, couldnt manage to gather the rest of the delegates from UKM KL cause to many people around. * head spinning* do u notice I am the only Indian, the rest are chinese ;^)
I stayed in a double-strorey apartment throughout the conference. I really enjoy suppering, crazying and photo-taking with my apartment-mates! Yes, this is our Family Photo! (frm top left: Angela, Rachel, Fong Wan, Shirley, Tania, Beatrice . Bottom from left: Sophia, Josephine , me and Renjie) Miss you girls! Excuse us for the messy left over supper !
this was the 1st time I realised that Maggi cup can actually taste so good =)
Beatrice, me and Angela. Beatrice is my small group member, and most of the photo in this post are credited from her album. Angela is my roomate, enjoy pillow-talk with her and like her pretty smile!
And yes! this is the group photo! There were around 400 of us excluded the crews. until today I still didnt fully get to know all who attended this NC. However, I have made a few good friends that i treasure. I pray that our friendships will continue to grow in Christ even after NC. this NC is like a Pit stop for me, a point for me to reflect, to reencounter and resubmit myself 100% to Him. Real challenge is still ahead of me, yet I will not fear for God has given me no spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline (2 Tim 1:7). Therefore, I shall do my best to present myself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

Of course, this would not be FES programme without any sports games! This time round we competed among small groups. This photo was taken when we were getting ready for dodge ball game, a game that requires excellence full body coordination cause you need to hide away from getting hit by ball mean while focusing on opponent to throw ball at them. but anyway, I enjoyed myself in this game * Love*
This is my small group! Our group was named after Kelabit. A tribe in northeast Sarawak. Bario is Kelabit heart-land. 1 of my dream after this NC is to hike mount Bario one day and try their famous Bario rice! ( Frm top left: Rachel, Tania, Beatrice, Elijah, Daniel Anand, wilson, Bottom: me and Josephine) FYI, Anand was our group leader, He is cute!And yes! this is the group photo! Thank you FESand above all, Thank you dear Heavenly Father, for speaking through your servant through the book of 2 Tim. Enable me Lord to keep your word in my heart and live it out. That I will be like Paul to fight a good fight, to finish the race , keep the faith and be called good and faithful servant! and that my life will be a legacy leave behind to encourage and be a testimonial to those who come behind me.
NC has been a bonus for me to end my 2010 in reflection and preparing myself to soar on eagle's wings in future!
p/s: up next, I will share with you a beautiful poem written by a friend I treasure from NC. He is very gifted in expressing himself through poems. I can almost smell the season and feel the breeze from the way he put words into his writing. Talented!

The songs that speak
These two songs are the songs that speaked into my life recently, have been playing them on my laptop again and again...
"Lifesong"
Empty hands held high
Such small sacrifice
If not joined with my life
I sing in vain tonight
May the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
I want to sign Your name to the end of this day
Knowing that my heart was true
Let my lifesong sing to You
Lord I give my life
A living sacrifice
To reach a world in need
To be Your hands and feet
So may the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Let my lifesong sing to You
'A Pure Heart'
A pure heart
that's what I long for
A heart that follows hard after Thee
A pure heart
that's what I long for
A heart that follows hard after Thee
A heart that hides Your Word
So that sin will not come in
A heart that's undivided
But one You rule and reign
A heart that beats compassion
That pleases You, my Lord
A sweet aroma of worship
That rises to Your throne
What does your heart beating to?
What is your lifesong?

Prudence (Reading from C. S. Lewis)
"Prudence means practical common sense, taking the trouble to think out what you are doing and what is likely to come of it. Nowadays most people hardly think of prudence as one of the 'virtues'. in fact, because Christ said we could only get into His world by being like children, many Christians have the idea that, provided you are 'good', it does not matter being a fool. But that is a misunderstanding. In the first place most children show plenty of prudence about the things there are really interested in, and think them out quite sensibly. in the second place, as St. Paul points out, Christ never meant that we were to remain children in intelligence: on the contrary, He told us to be not only as harmless as doves but also to be as wise as serpents. we wants a child's heart, but a grown-up's head. he wants us to be simple, single-minded, affectionate, and teachable, as good children are; but He also wants every bit of intelligence we have to be alert at its job, and in 1st-class fighting trim. The fact that you are giving money to a charity does not mean that you need not try to find out whether that charity is a fraud or not. the fact that what you are thinking about is God Himself ( for eg, when you are praying ) does not mean that you can be content with the same babyish ideas which you had when you were a five-year-old. It is of course, quite true that God will not love you any less, or have less use for you, if you happen to have born with a very second-rate brain. He has room for the people with very little senses, but He wants everyone to use what sense they have. The proper motto is not ' Be good, sweet maid, and let who can be clever,' but 'Be good, sweet maid, and don't forget that this involves being as clever as you can.' God is no fonder of intellectual slackers than of any other slackers." (C. S. Lewis, The joyful Christian)

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,..., then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. .... then you will understand what is right and just and fair - every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Dear God, I pray for prudent mind in dealing with life affairs. teach me and grant me the spirit of wisdom. In Jesus name, AMEN

FACIAL EXPRESSION
THERE ARE VARIOUS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS THAT WE CAN PUT ON DAILY. MOST OF THE TIME, FACIAL EXPRESSIONS ARE THE REFLECTION OF THE EMOTION WE FEEL DEEP INSIDE. SOMETIME, WE JUST PUT ON OUR FACIAL EXPRESSION LIKE A MASK TO COVER OVER WHAT WE REALLY FEEL. HOWEVER, WE CANNOT PRETEND TO FEEL LIKE THAT PARTICULAR FACIAL EXPRESSION WE PUT ON IF WE ARE NOT.
TODAY, I FELT ANGRY!! TO THE EXTREME! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, I WAS TOTALLY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED!!!! & I WOULD LIKE TO RELEASE IT AND SHOUT IT OUT HERE!!
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
AWAY FROM ME, ANGER, I SAID. AFTER THIS POST, I AM GOING TO SAY GOODBYE TO YOU, ANGER. I SHALL LEARN TO FORGIVE AND RELENT. TO FILL MY HEART WITH POSITIVE EMOTION.
Eph 4 :26-27
" 'In your anger do not sin': Do not let the sun goes down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold."
Eph4 :30-32
" Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
enable me dear Lord, I cant do this by my own effort...

Waiting
I really enjoy seeing people holding hands, it is indeed a comfortable way of intimacy out of love relationships. To me, holding hands has the magic to ease insecurity, to fill people's heart with peace and warm feeling, to guide the other person and to draw two person closer.
As a pilgrim on this life journey, I thank You Heavenly Father for holding my hand and never let go, even when I forgotten to wait upon You. Teach me dear Heavenly Father, to continue to seek after You even during period of waiting, teach me also to submit my fears, anxieties and uneasiness to You. Reminds me that You have a plan for me, is just a matter of time as the waiting goes on....
" Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Ps 27:14
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

The Prodigal Daughter -by Charlie Mackesy
this piece of art is done by Charlie Mackesy.
on this painting, Charlie writes:
“This is the story of the prodigal daughter – it should really be called the running Father who waited every day for his girl to come home – the daughter who had rejected him so badly – but when he saw her from a long way off – he ran to her and hugged her and kissed her”

IF
If I have not compassion on my fellowservant, even as my Lord had pity on me,
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I belittle those whom I am called to serve, talk of their weak points in contrast perhaps with what I think of as my strong points;
If I adopt a superior attitude, forgetting "Who made thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou hast not received?"
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I can easily discuss the shortcomings and the sins of any;
If I can speak in a casual way even of a child's misdoings,
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I find myself half-carelessly taking lapses for granted.
"Oh, that's what they always do."
"Oh, of course she talks like that,
he acts like that,"
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I can enjoy a joke at the expense of another;
If I can in any way slight another in conversation, or even in thought,
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I can write an unkind letter, speak an unkind word, think an unkind thought without grief and shame,
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I do not feel far more for the grieved Savior than for my worried self when troublesome things occur.
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I know little of His pitifulness (the Lord turned and looked upon Peter),
if I know little of His courage of hopefulness for the truly humble and penitent (He saith unto him, "Feed My lambs"),
than I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I deal with wrong for any other reason than that implied in the words, "From His right hand went a fiery law for them. Yea, He loved the people";
if I can rebuke without a pang,
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If in dealing with one who does not respond,
I weary of the strain,
and slip from under the burden,
then I know nothing of Calvary love.
If I cannot bear to be like the father who did not soften the rigors of the far country;
if, in this sense, I refuse to allow the law of God (the way of transgressors is hard) to take effect, because of the distress it causes me to see that law in operation.
then I know nothing of Calvary love.

All this world needs is - Genuine Love
Little Annie
A young girl known as "Little Annie" was in a mental institution. She was kept in a dungeon and was like an animal in many ways. When the attendants came, she would spring on them; she would claw at them and try to bite them. Sometimes she would just completely ignore them. she was considered a hopeless case.
But one nurse, in whose heart there dwelt the love of God, decided that she was going to try to reach Little Annie. Day after day she would come and speak to her softly. But Little Annie would just ignore her. One day the nurse brought some fresh-baked brownies and left them outside the cage. When the nurse returned the next day, the brownies were gone. The nurse continued to bring brownies n her visits to Little Annie. Finally, at long last, Little Annie began to get better. She was allowed out of the dungeon. and the day came when she was allowed out of the institution -- because that one nurse took the time to show her love.
Many years later, the famous Helen Keller was receiving a citation from Queen Victoria of England. the Queen said to her, "How do you account for your remarkable accomplishments in life?" She replied that she owed all that she was to her dear friend, Anne Sullivan, who with her hands in hers, opened her eyes and brought her up out of a black pit and enabled her to see the light.
So that one day she could say to her, "Oh Anne, you've made me to see the trees...and I see the sky...and I see the clouds. I see... Anne, I see God!" and Anne Sullivan is that same Little Annie who, touched by love, then touched others in return.

2010
2009 has been a very challenging year for me, a year which I had so many trials and decision making moments, a year which I had been too calculative,a year which I had lost someone that I care, a year that seems to be restless yet unproductive, but looking back to 2009, still I want to give thanks for I had the opportunities to be exposed to some of the world issues that I never came across, to come to the realisation of my weaknesses and fear, I get to know myself a little better..at least..
