God created me—and you—to live with a single, all-embracing, all-transforming passion—namely, a passion to glorify God by enjoying and displaying his supreme excellence in all the spheres of life. - John Piper

Issue I fear in life
What do you most afraid of? I believe everyone must have certain fear in life. Probably you are afraid of spiders or cannot stand vegetables or fear of taking flight or must sleep with lights on at night.
For me, I have this particular fear of being in gathering of fellowship where silent strikes the conversation , so to speak.
Meaning that, I am afraid of coming into communion with moment of silentness when I am being with my friends. Therefore I always have this tendency to break all the silent and be the talkactive role, to get the ball rolling, to avoid moment of silent.
Little did I know, I need to practice tactfulness and the skills of communication and the wisdom to speak the correct words at the right moments. and little did I know, it is okay to have moment of silent between friends or people I know during fellowship or gathering, just to enjoy the quiet companionship of one another, period.
Today, I learned that I need to be more tactful, to remember living out one of my new year resolutions which is to be wise in carry out conversation and to also learn to appreciate the treasure of silentness in moments spend with love one. To conclude, I am to learn to be still in those moments.
Come, let us embrace the fear in our life and summit to Lord Jesus Christ!
Eph 4:29 - Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
On another note, I try my ever 1st real live fresh CHERRY today!!! it was bought from MPG (thx to Lee fang). It was so sweet and juicy unlike the preserve cherry we usually had on the topping of cakes!! it is so so different yet refreshing! I have fallen in love with this sweet cherry instantly eventhough I doubt it initially. thank You Lord God for such wonderful creation of cherry =)
Such a simple little sweet red stuff can actually brighten some one's day =)

Blessed is the man who finds wisdom,
the man who gains understanding,
for wisdom is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
wisdom is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with wisdom.
prov 3:13-15
Dear God, I need wisdom from You to live a life that glorifies Your name. enable me. In Jesus name, Amen.
He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God who has called you into fellowship with His son Jesus Christ our Lord is faithful. It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God- that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 1 cor 1:8-9, 30

Gem for tonight:
Had a wonderful talk with ping peng just now. Really appreciate her kindness, patience and her effort of taking time to drop by to listen to me + buying the Jco dougnut. thank you dear Lord Jesus for sending me friends whenever I need help, comfort and encouragement, whenever I find it hard to move on and when I am lacking of faith and strength. thank you dear Lord for your amazing love.
Teach me dear God to focus on You instead of the issues of my life, teach me to be still and know that You are God.
Good night
John 15: 13
Greater love has no one than this, that He lays down His life for His friends.

Who wears the crown ?
One thing that I learned in 2010 which I consider a treasure is to take time to look back your busy life journey, plot it down, check and continue the journey again.
The title for this post is taken from one of the workshops in National Conference, meaning who is the ruler of your life? are you your own master or do you allow God to lead you?
here is a note from the hand-out of the workshop, I am using it to do my own reflection on year 2010 as I getting myself ready to venture into 2011.
1. Define the relationship
(a) Does God has the right to decide the course of my life?
(b) It's not just about being morally good in character, it's about directions, major decisions, crossroads in our life.
(c) Romans 12:1 - Offering our bodies as a living sacrifice
(d) What does it menas to 'follow me'? a disciple's mindset?
2. Join the dots
(a) How did you get here? eg: I am now at the road of being a biomedical student in UKM KL, so how did I become who I am today?
(b) It is God who odered your path
(c) Never a coincidence, always a design
(d) Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose
3. Know what's ahead.
(a) What's ahead for you? carreer, life partner, family, raising children?
(b) serving God
(c) Location for settling down- where will you make an impact?
(d) leisure
(e) wealth; health
4. Knowing God's will
(a) God's sovereign will
(b) God's purposive will
(c) God's moral will
(d) God's specific will for individual
Conclusion: God leaves it to us to decide but is concerned with how we decide- decision making and the will of God.
At the end of my 2010, I was being challenged to redefine God in my life, am I my own master? am I seeking God for direction merely in major issues or will I surrender and allow God to take charge of my life, even the smallest issues?
If I were to give a name for my year of 2010, I will name it a year of challenge and year of many wrestles. My hope in 2011 is to be able to wait upon my Lord with humble heart and to be renewed in my faith, and to be able to soar on eagle's wing.
