My random delightful search! love the photos by Deb Schwedhelm , these photos inspired me to have a memory-capturing-session with my sisters and brother to cheerish siblings-hood given by God
God created me—and you—to live with a single, all-embracing, all-transforming passion—namely, a passion to glorify God by enjoying and displaying his supreme excellence in all the spheres of life. - John Piper

Psalm 103
Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel:
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.
He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field;
the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.
Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.
Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion.
Praise the Lord, O my soul.
~Psalm 103~
Thank you dear Lord for giving us the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. You are the reason we celebrate Christmas.
Blessed Christmas and New year =)

Summer's End/ Summer's Memories
As promise, this beautiful piece of poem is one of the gems i gained from National Conference 2010, enjoy the poem =)
Summer's End/ Summer's Memories
The broad road now diverged
Into a thousand and one ways
Each leading, to a different path
Only one can only take
As the moment of this season
Slowly reaches its very end.
Mountains and valley stand
As chasms and oceans lie dormant between us
Meeting again, most probably never
Unless our paths cross again
Down the years yonder.
So for the time we shared
While the leaaves were still green-
I hoped, you have really enjoyed
The sweetness of the summer friuts
During our walks, in the lush orchards
And down the quiet gardens......
Because I did,
and I enjoyed every one of it.
And I hope,
Even after the summer's end
The lively summer's memories
will still remain and breathe- eternal
Even when the darkness comes
And the trees turn bare;
And you will remember
This dear night wind
To whom you have lent a patient ear
and listened, to his silent whispers
whose heart you can always find
to be a faithful friend
-just because you were there,
and I found you listening.
To the friend who lent me her pencil
So that I could finish this poem:
This song of mine, I dedicate this to you.
Thank you.
All the best for the days to come
But do remember this:
That you will never be alone
Because you will always have love
Faithfully by your side
And you will always remember me
Everytime you feel the wind blows
In the middle of a silent night.

I knew the author of this poem from NC, and really admired his gifting in impromptu delivering of his thoughts and reflections through words. Visit his blog for more poems on his reflection during NC =)
Cheerish our friendship!

Daring delegates of the conference to meet God, wrestle with Him, redefine Him in our life, seeking reassurance of salvation, to reflect on our life, to be vulnerable to correction, to be transform by God and to look into issues of our nation + chalellenge us to counter current! I have been challenge and would like to journal down pieces of puzzles of the conference here, do allow the photos to speak for themselves.
UKM KL CF delegates: 9 of us in total (frm left: Catherine, Wai Han,Josephine, Jolene, Lynn, Qian Yi, Me, Grace and Yvonne posing in front)
We posed together with our campus U-Turn flag sign. Thanks to all CF members who participated in making this flag sign come alive, special token of gratitude to Jane who gave birth to the idea of this sign. To those who couldnt make it to NC, your presence is represented by this flag sign albeit your physical absent =)

The theme song for the NC is Satu Suara by Juwita Suwito. We are so blessed to have her sing the song to us 1st hand on one of the few nights. She is gifted with powerful singing voice.
Participants from different states of Malaysia come together in one accord in this NC to look into our personal life issues and national issues. To understand ourselves adn our nation. In case you are wondering what is with the yellow bus doing there. the bus represents all participants are on board and ready to venture into 6 days of conference!
We were requested to wear national costume during the NC karnival night. Malaysia is so blessed with the richness of different etnic with beautiful and tasteful traditional costume.
Some of us from UKM KL CF wearing traditional costume, couldnt manage to gather the rest of the delegates from UKM KL cause to many people around. * head spinning* do u notice I am the only Indian, the rest are chinese ;^)
I stayed in a double-strorey apartment throughout the conference. I really enjoy suppering, crazying and photo-taking with my apartment-mates! Yes, this is our Family Photo! (frm top left: Angela, Rachel, Fong Wan, Shirley, Tania, Beatrice . Bottom from left: Sophia, Josephine , me and Renjie) Miss you girls! Excuse us for the messy left over supper !
this was the 1st time I realised that Maggi cup can actually taste so good =)
Beatrice, me and Angela. Beatrice is my small group member, and most of the photo in this post are credited from her album. Angela is my roomate, enjoy pillow-talk with her and like her pretty smile!
And yes! this is the group photo! There were around 400 of us excluded the crews. until today I still didnt fully get to know all who attended this NC. However, I have made a few good friends that i treasure. I pray that our friendships will continue to grow in Christ even after NC. this NC is like a Pit stop for me, a point for me to reflect, to reencounter and resubmit myself 100% to Him. Real challenge is still ahead of me, yet I will not fear for God has given me no spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline (2 Tim 1:7). Therefore, I shall do my best to present myself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

Of course, this would not be FES programme without any sports games! This time round we competed among small groups. This photo was taken when we were getting ready for dodge ball game, a game that requires excellence full body coordination cause you need to hide away from getting hit by ball mean while focusing on opponent to throw ball at them. but anyway, I enjoyed myself in this game * Love*
This is my small group! Our group was named after Kelabit. A tribe in northeast Sarawak. Bario is Kelabit heart-land. 1 of my dream after this NC is to hike mount Bario one day and try their famous Bario rice! ( Frm top left: Rachel, Tania, Beatrice, Elijah, Daniel Anand, wilson, Bottom: me and Josephine) FYI, Anand was our group leader, He is cute!And yes! this is the group photo! Thank you FESand above all, Thank you dear Heavenly Father, for speaking through your servant through the book of 2 Tim. Enable me Lord to keep your word in my heart and live it out. That I will be like Paul to fight a good fight, to finish the race , keep the faith and be called good and faithful servant! and that my life will be a legacy leave behind to encourage and be a testimonial to those who come behind me.
NC has been a bonus for me to end my 2010 in reflection and preparing myself to soar on eagle's wings in future!
p/s: up next, I will share with you a beautiful poem written by a friend I treasure from NC. He is very gifted in expressing himself through poems. I can almost smell the season and feel the breeze from the way he put words into his writing. Talented!
