OPKIM KE-13 ( trip to Kuantan)

my faculty has an anual programme known as ' khidmat masyarakat' ( serving in rural area as an undergraduate), this year it was being held in Kuantan- Perkampungan Cenderawasih. i m a lucky one to be selected as one of the participants, initially i was very relunctant of joining after this stressful semester, i was complaining, however, i m now feeling very grateful of what i hv learnt thru this programme. i thank God for giving me this opportunity to serve kampung people who were mainly Malays,glad dat i didnt pull myself out of this programme even though there were only 2 chinese of 120 students participating. after all it is a blissful experience!

for 5 days i had been staying with a malay family togather with another 4 of my malay friends, 5 of us were consider as the family's 'anak angkat' (adopted child). every morning till afternoon, we will be serving the villages by offering health care body check up, nutrition intake advices and pharmacist consultations, at the multi-purpose hall, but the hall is being used as a kindergarten by the villages. at night , we will dine wif our foster family and spend family hours with them, some nights we will organize some talk shows at their hall. Beside providing health care services, we had blessed the kampung by explainning our courses to the young adults as well as the teenagers there. we really had a wonderful moment fellowship with the kampung people, they were all very encouraging and friendly.

remember my holiday plan which i mentioned of going to a beach and lay on the soft sandy beach? i visited a beach called 'teluk cempedak' in kuantan, even though i couldnt lay on the beach coz i went there at night, but i was feeling content to be able to listen to the glorious sound of the fierceful wave and to be able to breath in the saltiness of beach air. it was superb!, i took some photos, but the qualities isn't dat gud coz it was night time and was using a camera dat unable to function properly... still, i was very happy, satisfied and thankful for dis gift of going to beach. :) i love beach, i enjoy the breeze that relaxing my mind and body...i know, i had fallen in love with beach.

anyway, i will post my photos in my next post since dat i m too lazy to get my camera and transfer the photos now..so, dis entry will be lacked of photos.
