I ask myself one question today : what do i have for my breakfast, lunch and dinner..teatime in between, snacks while revising notes?

I am so blessed to have enough to eat.. thank you Lord:) but...

What about these groups of people out there who struggle to get a meal, who don't have proper nutrients, who have to starve to death? have i forgotten them?! Have i done something or simply because I am just an ignorance student with no power and authority to make a difference, therefore I said to myself : you can do nothing ! ?

Funny isn't it? while there is a group of people whom declare by WHO as being obese and needed to go for expensive diet plan or other treatments, and yet, there are people who don't even have a plate of rice to provide them with daily energy source... what a huge contrast?!

Watch this award winning video clip that talk about the neglected society, and what poverty has done to them! Is a true story and I believe there are so many others similar story out there waiting to be uncover.

I also believe that God is equal. He made the mother nature with enough food sources to feed everyone of us. As a christian, actions should be taken--- to END HUNGER.

something to think about,
have we been too content with what we have n who we are now? too comfortable in our comfort zone that we dare not do something to leave our current situation, even to make an effort by allocating a space to do something for our Lord?I have been there....

At the end of the day, when you stand in front of the judgement of the Lord,
will these two charges prevent us from entering into His kingdom?

1. Did not live under the Lordship of Christ?
2. Have we been silent by ignorant atitude and failed to reflect God's Love to the oppressed, the poor, the needy, the people who has not listened to the gospel before and our neighbour?

A Father's Love For His Son

came across this video clip in my email, showing a story of a father's love towards his son, the story really touches my heart, and I realised so much so our Father in heaven will do the same thing for us, He is always there running the race with us and for us.... I m glad that i do not have to worry about life for Jesus will carry me and run the race with me :)

S.W.E.E.P (LET MY HEART BE BROKEN FOR WHAT BREAKS THE HEART OF GOD)

You must be wondering why on earth i post about sweeping?! yup, it is definitely s.w.e.e.p but that is the abb. for Social Work Exposure and Embracement Program. which i had signed up for.! i m so looking forward to this program which will be held in June by FES, and is in Klang Valley :)

So, what is S.W.E.E.P. ?

It is a 2-week internship program, is designed to help people to understand and appreciate those in need through activities, to provide knowledge in the area of social concern through talks and to experience the work of a social worker in different home attachments ;}

I have alwayz been wanting to play my part in social work throgh the line of healthcare, and this program will definitely be the threshold for me in to discover my area of serving in Christ.! I believe this program will provide great adventure and fun learning space! and most importantly to allow me to explore and understand the professional social work. !

According to S.W.E.E.P: ' Our dream is to create a deep sense of awareness and compasson towards those in need and assist in understanding and knowledge in the area of social concerns. We hope to develop potential workers in the industry who will hopefully get significantly involved in our community!'

Yes, S.W.E.E.P is going to bring love and care towards the needy in Klang Valley, to serve the poor and to share the LOVE of CHRIST!

i had so much fun yesterday, meeting up old buddies in segamat in Armour, carly, lisa, weiling ( the long lost fren) , lim qian n jan. we seem to have endless thing to talk, from fui's birthday sleep-over to jan's photographing skills to weiling travelled to the border of m'sia n thai juz to taste some delicacies there, lim qian's wardrobe being left behind in inti , lisa's weird experience of hearing some noises when she was burning the mid night oil n etc etc.. so many things to catch up before our precious fren, jan going aboard to aus.. i think we all r going to miss her lotz ,she has been such a tremendous fren to us, wish her all the best in aus n that she may be able to find another bunch of frenz like us there.! take care jan n enjoy ur study in aus!

hAPPY New YEaR

looking back to the year 2008, God has been gracious and faithful to me., when i read back my journal this uneventful afternoon, i realised that God was always there with me through the good and the bad, through the up and the down n He is the God in control of every situation in my life...the most significance event was the Christmas celebration just recently that my parents attended at my church christmas service!!! i was thrilled!, n i want to give thanks to the Lord for His compassion not only for my life but for my family. i realise that it is not through my own effort that my family will come to know Christ but through the grace of God and His timing, wat i would like to highlight here is God know's our heart's desire even before we pray, and it is vital that we keep our heart pure and right everyday.

although my family did not make the decision immediately to accept Jesus as their Lord and saviour, but they finally understand that Christianity is not for 'amour' and everyone has the same opportunity to come and know the Christ, thanks to uncle steven's message. however, i would like to encourage everyone of us to keep on praying for our loves one who has yet to be saved and also never cease to pray for the lost, we might experience incubation period for a very long time but again, God has His own timing and He is a sovereign God!

entering into this new year (2009), it means i m now older, hopefully wiser. of course i have my list of resolution done, praying that when i look back into my new year resolution in 2010, i will keep my own words

anyway, i will like to share with you the bible verse that i have chosen for the year 2009

jeremiah 29:11-12 'for i know the plans i have for you', declare the Lord, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and i will listen to you.'
